It seems like after the all the SMAP disbanding rumours, the well know JE group will live on after all.

A tweet by @zen_nipponl shows a newspaper bearing the title that SMAP will continue.

Of course… All that could still change in the future. And for now, I’d like to wait for an official press statement from JE first.

SMAP definitely got a huge media exposure from this rumour though. The news was reported all over the world (in Singapore and Malaysia too).

For now… I’d be glad if the so called faction war is resolved once and for all. Old Johnny jiisan, just name your successor already!
