Woah.
Barely a month has passed since the previous single, Fukkatsu Love was released and we have news of a new single by Arashi!
Of course, with Arashi members Ohno Satoshi and Matsumoto Jun both starring in dramas, the single has been widely anticipated. So, information about the new single.
Arashi’s 49th single, “I seek/Daylight”, is a double A single. “I Seek” is the theme song for Ohno Satoshi’s drama Sekai Ichi Muzukashii Koi (世界一難しい恋), which will air on NTV every Wednesday from the 13th of April 2016. Meanwhile, “Daylight” will be the theme song 99.9: Keiji Senmon Bengoshi (99.9-刑事専門弁護士-), a TBS drama starting on 17th of April 2016, starring Matsumoto Jun.
“I seek” promises to be an upbeat song, that is overflowing with grooviness. It’s a love song that will show Arashi’s true worth! “Daylight” emulates the philosophy of the drama, and bears the message from Arashi about resilience and perseverance even in the face of impossible situations. The song has a transparent, yet warm melody. It also features Sakurap – rap by band member Sakurai Sho.
There will be three versions of the single. Limited Edition 1 and 2 will each come with a DVD that contains the music video and making for “I seek” and “Daylight” respectively. The DVDs will be be encoded for Region 2, and no subtitles will be included. The Regular Edition will come with four songs, both the A side songs, a new song entitled “Tadaima”, and the fourth song entitled supersonic. It will also have the original karaokes of all four songs. The song Tadaima is specially created for Arashi’s upcoming arena tour, their first arena tour in 9 years.
All three versions will come with a different album artwork.
