Ok, this is more than a week late… But still…
V6 will be releasing their first single of 2016, entitled “Beautiful World”, on the 8th of June 2016. Beautiful World would be V6’s 46th single. “Beautiful World” is the theme song for season 11 of the drama Keishicho Sosa Ikka 9 Gakari (警視庁捜査一課9係) starring member Inohara Yoshihiko. Season 1 of the drama first aired on TV Asahi in Apr 2006 and the latest season started airing on the 6th April 2016. V6 has been providing the theme songs since season 1 and this time it’s no exception. The song is written by the singer-song writer Motohiro Hata. He will play the song and also participate in the chorus. The ballad is promises to be a heartwarming song that will bring a smile to your face.
The single comes with a coupling song, entitled “by your side”. The song is the theme song for the TBS TV commercial for the mobile game app “ラブセン～V6とヒミツの恋～” (Love Line~V6 and the secret love).
There are a total of 3 versions for this single – Limited Edition Type A, Limited Edition Type B, and Regular Edition.
Limited Edition Type A includes a DVD with the “Beautiful World” music video, as well as a making of the music video and cover jacket photoshoot. It includes a collaboration with the Love Line mobile app (valid only in Japan).
In Limited Edition Type B, the DVD will contain a bonus footage of the lip sync video of “by your side”. It also includes a collaboration with the Love Line mobile app.
The Regular Edition does not include a DVD, but it comes with a 20 page booklet, and has an addition two songs. The song titles have not yet been revealed, but they are sang by the 20th Century and Coming Century respectively. It’s been three years since the last time 20th Century and Coming Century recorded their own songs.
All three editions also come with a B3 sized poster, the poster is the same for all 3 editions. For the limited editions, the DVD is encoded for region 2 (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and no subtitles are included. The three editions will come in a sleeve type packaging.
