The highly anticipated concert DVD/Blu-ray release date has been announced! Arashi’s 2017-2018 live tour “untitled” will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on the 13th of June 2018.
As a promotion of their “untitled” album, the “untitled” live tour was staged in the five major domes in Japan from Nov 2017 to Jan 2018. The theme of the concert is “mikan”, meaning unfinished or incomplete. Thus in fitting with that theme, Arashi tried various experiments in both the album and the concert. For example, the employed a movable 2081-inch gigantic LED screen on the main stage. Unit songs made a comeback, and “Song for you” is the first Arashi song lasting over 10 minutes. Filling up the entire dome space with their radiance and style of entertainment.
The DVD/Blu-ray comes in two versions – the Limited and Regular editions. The limited edition features the video “Arashi no Arashi Kai” (Arashi’s Arashi Party) – a precious footage lasting over 2 hours where Arashi watches the untitled live concert and give their comments in a relaxed, home party setting. A 64 page photo booklet is also included. The regular edition features multi angle videos of UB, Come Back, Yoru no Kage, Bazuri Night, Song for you and Mikan, as well as the encore of the tour final at Kyocera Dome Osaka where they sang “Kansha Kangeki Ame Arashi”. The jacket artwork for the two editions are different.
