Japanese boyband Arashi has announced their first single of 2018! The highly anticipated single, titled ‘Find The Answer’, contains a lead song of the same name. The lead song will be used as the theme song for band member Matsumoto Jun’s drama 99.9-Keiji Senmon Bengoshi-Season II (99.9-刑事専門弁護士-Season II, 99.9 Criminal Lawyer Season II).
Being the second season of 99.9 as well as the second theme song Arashi provides for the drama, Find The Answer incorporate both the tenderness of the previous theme song, Daylight, as well as the personalities of the drama characters. Pushing forward in difficult cases even though there’s only a 0.1% possibility of success, the song is simple yet powerful, with an upbeat tempo and an exhilarating outlook toward the future.

‘Find The Answer’ will come in two editions – limited and regular edition. The cover artwork and contents of the two versions are different. While both editions will contain the lead song Find The Answer, the similarity ends there. The limited edition will come with a coupling song, as well as the music video and making, whereas the regular edition comes with a separate set of 3 coupling songs, including Shiro ga Mau (白が舞う, literally white is dancing). Shiro ga Mau will be used as the theme song for NTV’s PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics coverage, where band member Sakurai Sho will be a special newscaster.
Shiro ga Mau is a powerful yet gentle song that hopes to inspire courage in the athletes as they face various challenges in the winter Olympics, a spectacular event held once every 4 years.
